You recently announced in a statement that OCPH has increased the pace of supplying the Lebanese market with essential products. How have you managed to maintain this level of continuity under the current circumstances?

From the very first moments of the recent developments, our primary objective was clear: to ensure the uninterrupted flow of essential products to the Lebanese market, particularly food products that consumers rely on daily. Accordingly, we mobilized all our operational, logistics, and commercial teams, and adjusted work schedules and operational processes to meet the requirements of the current phase. Today, our teams are working around the clock to ensure that products remain available in the market despite the challenges we are all facing.

To what extent have the teams within Obegi Consumer Products Holding (OCPH) played a key role in achieving this continuity?

What has been achieved is, first and foremost, the result of the commitment demonstrated by our teams. Our employees in warehouses, transportation, sales, and distribution have shown a high level of professionalism and responsibility. Behind every shipment that reaches the market and every product that arrives on store shelves, there is a dedicated team working diligently and with great commitment despite the difficult circumstances. This dedication is what enables us to maintain the continuity of our operations even under the most challenging conditions.

What enables Obegi Consumer Products Holding (OCPH) to operate steadily under such circumstances?

Operational strength does not happen by chance. It is the result of a corporate culture built on discipline, organization, and teamwork. Over more than six decades, OCPH has developed strong operational and logistics capabilities, along with a solid network of relationships and partnerships with suppliers, clients, and international partners. This integrated ecosystem is what allows us today to continue operating steadily despite disruptions.

OCPH often speaks about the value of “partnership.” How is this value reflected in such circumstances?

Partnership is one of the core values embedded in OCPH’s corporate culture. This partnership extends beyond commercial relationships to include our employees, partners, suppliers, and clients with whom we have worked for many years. These trust-based relationships enable us to operate as an integrated ecosystem. In difficult times, the importance of such partnerships becomes even more evident, as they allow all stakeholders to work together to maintain market stability and serve consumers.

What message would you like to share today?

My message is simple and clear: despite the difficult and exceptional circumstances, OCPH teams will continue to work with full responsibility to ensure the steady supply of essential products to the Lebanese market. We are an organization proud of its Lebanese identity and have been operating in this country for many decades. It is our duty to stand alongside the community, the market, and consumers during this period, just as we always have. In closing, I wish safety to all Lebanese and hope that this ordeal will come to an end as soon as possible, in the best interest of Lebanon and its citizens.
